Iowa Republican congressman and renowned racist Steve King has been tacitly embraced by the GOP for years despite his open support of white supremacist values and movements. As an influential legislator from primo primary country he was courted by presidential hopefuls and his star shot ever higher when Donald Trump won the Oval Office while touting King's pet project: The Wall.
After the Democrats' triumphant Blue Wave of 2016, he even derisively looked over at the diverse liberal caucus and sadly stated "Looks like it's no country for white men." Boo-hoo!
Shortly thereafter he wondered aloud to the New York Times as to when terms like "white nationalist" and "white supremacist" became offensive. Say what?! That was a step too far even for Republican who slapped him on the wrist by taking away his committee assignments.
We say it's time to go further and kick this racist out of congress -- America is No Country for This Old Man!
