When a group of privileged teens from a religious school march for "life" while celebrating a depraved, unholy character who locks children in cages, one suspects cognizant dissonance...when ostensibly Christian values are further belied by chants for a wall and jeering Native American elders, you know they're just assholes.
A social media firestorm erupted when group of adorably affluent fascists from Covington Catholic High School were shown mocking Native American marine vet Nathan Phillips, the giggly punks spearheaded by Nick Sandmann and his nauseatingly disrespectful in-your-face shit-eating grin.
The right-wing spin machine later cast Sandmann as a misunderstood hero, but an apology from the church, the behavior of classmates, and our own eyes tell the true tale of the dynamic. Mr. Phillips (Native name: Sky Man), handled the situation nobly, but perhaps should have bestowed a native name on the youngster: Hates-With-A-Smirk.
